Three crystals hold the key to a powerful ally

 

Rindi Gloam and her companion found the blue crystal. Meanwhile, on the mainland of Hosan, a new fellowship has formed. Sina—The Watcher—is tasked by Valyn to locate this ally. Defeating the Wraelke and ending the conflict in the Windswept Isles depends on that. She and her companions set out in search of the red crystal.

 

The quest takes her into the deep forests, frozen mountain peaks, and ancient temples. Along the way, she confronts enemies from all sides. She must, however, also confront herself and her past.

 

Back in the Windswept Isles, Rindi and her party struggle to keep the Naga and the Chasi from killing each other. The corruption that has festered in both groups threatens not only to thwart her efforts but also take her life. 

 

With betrayal at every turn, both groups converge on their goals. Every step closer to peace, however, seems to heighten the danger. Their enemies will stop at nothing to prevail. Soon it becomes apparent to everyone, though—there is more to Rindi and Sina than meet the eye.
